Welcome to GoPlant – AI Plant Identifier (“App”), a product developed by Appslogie (“we”, “us”, or “our”). We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how it’s processed, your rights, and how we comply with global privacy regulations, including Google Play policies and U.S. state privacy laws.

Important Notice to Users
If you or your legal guardian do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, you must not download, install, or use the GoPlant – AI Plant Identifier app. If you have already installed the app, we respectfully request that you uninstall it immediately.

- Device Camera Access: To allow photo capture directly in the app (used only upon consent).
- Account Data (if created): Name, email, photo via Google/Facebook sign-in, if used.

- Device type, OS, model, and settings
- App interactions (e.g., screens viewed, scans performed)
- Language, time zone, and country
- Device identifiers (Advertising ID, Android ID)
- IP address and network type
- In-app events and error logs
- Cookies or similar technologies (for analytics/ad delivery)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected for the following purposes:
- To identify plants using AI (ChatGPT/Gemini)
- To deliver tailored content and ads
- To provide in-app analytics and crash reporting
- To manage subscriptions and in-app purchases
- To communicate with you (support, feedback)
- To improve and optimize app performance
- To enforce legal obligations and prevent abuse
3. Use of AI Models
We use ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Gemini AI (Google) models to generate plant-related descriptions and insights. Only the image or text you provide for plant identification is processed; no personally identifiable information is included unless explicitly provided.
These models are used for real-time content generation and do not store your personal data.
4. Permissions We Request
The App may request access to:
- Camera – to capture plant images
- Location – to enhance identification accuracy (optional)
- Internet/Network Access – for database querying and ad serving
Permissions are only requested when necessary and are used strictly to provide core app functionality.
5. In-App Purchases and Billing
We offer in-app purchases and subscriptions managed securely via Google Play Billing. We do not process or store any payment information. You may manage or cancel subscriptions via your Google Play account.
GoPlant – AI Plant Identifier offers optional in-app purchases and auto-renewing subscriptions to unlock premium features such as unlimited plant scans and an ad-free experience.
If you choose to purchase a subscription, your Google Play account will be billed continuously unless you cancel it. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly, yearly, etc.) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings, even if you uninstall the app. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Virtual Items and Features
You may purchase, with your local currency:
- (a) A non-transferable, limited, revocable license to use in-app features or virtual content (e.g., scan credits, special plant tools)
- (b) Access to premium app features during the active subscription period
We reserve the right to update, manage, modify, or remove in-app items, pricing, and features at our sole discretion. GoPlant has no obligation to provide refunds or exchanges for any changes made to in-app features or pricing structures.
Payment Terms
You agree to pay all fees and applicable taxes for any purchases made through your account. All information you provide for a transaction (e.g., credit card, billing address) must be accurate and up to date. You are responsible for all transactions made through your account or payment method.

All payments and subscriptions are processed securely through the Google Play billing system and are governed by:
We do not store or process any personal payment data. Upon successful purchase, we may receive a non-identifiable order reference ID linked to your device or account for record-keeping and feature access control.
Payment Processors
All financial transactions within GoPlant are handled by third-party providers (Google Play) under their own terms of use and privacy policies. We are not liable for any issues, downtime, or service outages caused by third-party payment processors.
Refund Policy
If you experience technical issues with the app after purchasing a subscription, you may request a refund. Please email us at feedback@appslogie.com with the issue details and a screenshot of the problem. We will attempt to resolve the issue first. If a resolution is not possible, we will guide you on requesting a refund through the official app store process.
Promotional Codes
Promotional codes must be redeemed before their stated expiration date. We reserve the right to suspend, modify, or cancel promotional codes at any time without notice, where permitted by law.
Subscription Duration & Cancellation
Unless canceled, your GoPlant subscription will renew automatically for the same term and at the current rate. By not canceling your subscription before the renewal date, you authorize Google to charge your payment method for the upcoming period. Canceling your subscription during a promotional or active period will result in immediate loss of premium access, and no refunds will be issued for unused time, virtual content, or features.
6. Advertising and Analytics
We use the following tools:
- Google AdMob – Ad display and revenue generation
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics – App usage analytics and crash reports
- Google Analytics – Behavior insights and performance tracking
All advertising complies with the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles.
You may opt out of personalized advertising via your device settings:
- Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads > “Delete advertising ID”
Firebase Event Tracking
We use Firebase Analytics to track in-app events and user interactions within GoPlant – AI Plant Identifier. This helps us understand how users engage with different features, identify performance issues, and improve overall app functionality. By collecting anonymized event data such as screen views, scan actions, session durations, and crash reports, we are able to optimize the app experience, introduce new features, and ensure better stability and usability for all users. No personally identifiable information is collected through these events.

The app uses on-device machine learning models to translate content for a better user experience. These models are downloaded once and stored locally. Our app uses Google ML Kit’s on-device translation model to translate plant data. Translations happen locally and no user content is sent to any server for translation

📲 Meta SDK & App Event Tracking
We use the Meta SDK (formerly Facebook SDK) in our app to help us understand user interactions, track in-app events, and measure the performance of our app marketing campaigns on Meta platforms (such as Facebook and Instagram).

We access public video metadata from YouTube, such as video ID, title, thumbnail, and region/language-based search results. This information is used only to display video content within the app. We do not access, collect, store, or share any personal user information or account data from YouTube.
